Revising

My husband and I were experiencing a lot of difficulties on behalf of the property management company that rented out the house we were living in, to the point that we had to pack up, relocate, unpack and settle into our new house. Overall, I'm actually relieved that this happened. I adore my new house and find the new city to be much more fitting for me and my family.

Now, two weeks later, everything is settled and unpacked [excluding about three boxes that I have not decided what to do with the contents of...but we'll pretend those ones don't exist right now] and I have been working on the revising process of Ephemeral. I want to get this book out as soon as possible, but at the same time I don't want to rush the editing process because I want to make sure it's as perfect as possible before I release it to my readers!

During the week of the move, I also had a few promotions for Twin Souls that gradually increased my ranking on Amazon. At one point, I was number eleven on the top free books! Needless to say, I was ecstatic.

I just wanted to fill everyone in on what has been happening lately, and now I must resume my revising :]

Nevermore Collection, Ephemeral Update

Over the weekend, I spent several hours working on a box set design for my recently-released complete series of Nevermore. There were multiple design ideas that I went through, but I finally settled on one that I really liked. While I created that, my husband went through the process of formatting all four books into one document for the new 'book' release and it's available now! Click below to check it out and maybe even grab a 'copy'! :]

After completing the design, I dedicated some time to working on Ephemeral, which is growing ever-closer to being finished! To reach my goal of 75,000 words total I need a little less than 10,000 more words. It may or may not exceed that amount, but I'm confident that it will at least hit right at 75,000 and I'm already developing ideas for the sequel.

There was one more thing I wanted to address - I have received several requests asking for more Nevermore / Alexis / Salem, and I swear, I'm not done with the world of Nevermore! There is more to come, but it is just going to be a little while before I get back to it. There are plans for a follow-up series from Madison's point of view [if you are unaware of who that it is, I won't ruin it for you], as well as a short story based on Salem's past. I cannot give much of an estimated time for when those will be out, but I can almost guarantee it won't be until 2014 at the earliest.

I sincerely hope that the Hazel Grove and Avarial books can keep you occupied while you wait for more Nevermore!
